  14. NOTE:  The BBS.CFG file should be stored in your main BRE directory

  16. Line 1 = Sysop Name
  17. Line 2 = BBS Name or Planet Name - This is used only to identify your
  18.          planet in the game, so use whatever you like - to make others
  19.          see the selected name, request that it be placed in the Nodelist
  20.          in place of the BBS name
  21. Line 3 = NodeNumber WITH Net/Node ONLY - Include the ZONE *only* if it is
  22.          included in the BRNODES.DAT file.  Zones should be used is the
  23.          zone number is greater than one - be sure to get your coordinator
  24.          to place it in the BRNODES.DAT.
  25. Line 4 = Your Front End Incoming FILE Directory
  26. Line 5 = Your NetMail Directory
  27. Line 6 = League number - Must be the same throughout the league.  This
  28.          can be any number between 1 and 999.  It is used if a BBS wishes
  29.          to be a member of two leagues to separate incoming files.
  30.          I suggest league coordinators pick a unique number for their league
  31.          to avoid confusion with other leagues.  Support for this has been
  32.          installed and you will need this number whether running one or more
  33.          games.  Enjoy!
  34. Line 7 = Your Front End Mailer
  35.          This should be one of the following:
  36.          FRONTDOOR   BINKLEY   DBRIDGE   INTERMAIL   DBRIDGEOLD   OTHER   NONE
  37.          If you wish to run BRE PLANETARY more than once a day, you MUST
  38.          be running Front Door, Binkleyterm, D'Bridge, or Intermail.
  39.          D'Bridge 1.51 and below do not support the necessary features for
  40.          BRE to allow multiple files per day to be transferred, and you must
  41.          therefore use the "DBRIDGEOLD" setting.
  42.          If you run D'Bridge 1.51- or OTHER, then be SURE to only run
  43.          BRE PLANETARY during daily maintainence.  Otherwise, you will lose
  44.          Data.
  45.          Also, many systems are running BRE *without* a mail system
  46.          completely (no idea how, but they have succeeded!).  You can use
  47.          the NONE setting if you delete files after they are sent.
  48.          Selecting NONE will *not* create a .MSG file.
